Goofy Buttercream Rose Demonstration...

Did I say goofy? As in goofy, goofy, goofy...GOOFY!
-
That would be me.
-
I cringe when I hear my voice; and I am not the best at verbal instructions, but below you will find my lame attempt at demonstrating how to make buttercream roses, for all of you that have problems with this. It really is all about practice. I've only been doing these for 25 years. (Well, it doesn't really take 25 years to make a good rose...but maybe like 200 attempts or for some like me....2,000...)
-
I said in the video that I make my roses the Wilton way, but after looking at their video demonstration (which, by the way, is much better than mine in explaining the process)....I realized I do mine backwards! Oh, and I also use the 104 tip for the base instead of using a big round tip...no sense wasting time changing out tips for a base that doesn't show anyway. But how about that! All these years I thought I followed directions well...
-
Which just goes to show you...there is always more than one way to do something...and even do something well.

See...Not bad, huh?

Your roses are great - I just signed up to take a fondant roses class and am really excited.
